Hello,
I'm getting an "ERROR -1073807175: bLength field is incorrect for USB_ENDPOINT_DESCRIPTOR type" This error shows right away after I click Next on the first screen of the NI-VISA Driver Wizard. I don't see any errors after the wizard creates the USB driver. In fact, I can Write to the USB Device Endpoint 4 using this NI-VISA Driver. My problem is that I can't read from Endpoint 3. I'm not sure if this error has something to do with my problem.
Is there a way I can fix this?
The NI-VISA Driver verison is: 5.4.0.49152

Hi,
It is a H8S/2215 from Renesas here is the datasheet: http://documentation.renesas.com/doc/products/mpumcu/rej09b0140_2215hm.pdf
I have updated the NI-VISA to 14.0.0.49152 but I still getting the same error.
I have click on the “Repair” button and I still getting the same error.
I don't know what else I can do to clear this error. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Pablo

Problem fixed. Disconnecting the USB hub that is built-in on my Dell Monitor helped.
Thanks,
Pablo

Hi SARABU,
I'm not sure if this is what you're getting at but this KB explains the process of removing and redetecting a USB device:
How Do I Force Windows to Remove and Redetect a USB Device?

Thanks!
