Measure Add-in won't install in Excel 2010

I've used Measure 2.0 on other computers successfully, including one running Excel 2007 with the VBA converter pack.  However, I cannot seem to add it to Excel 2010.  It is listed and selected in the Active Add in list, however it does not show up in the Add-ins menu with my other add-ins.  Any suggestions?

thanks

Hi Jessica,

I am sorry to tell you that unfortunately, the Measure product reached it's End of Life date back in 2009, prior to Excel 2010. Please see the product page here:

That's too bad it reached its EOL.  Fortunately, it does still work in Excel 2010, you just need to install the VBA converter hotfix correctly:

Once unzipped there is a readme file that specifies which files you need to move.  Turns out I had just forgotten to move one of the files.  Once all the files are moved and the VBA modules are migrated, then Measure still works great in Excel 2010

Hi JessicaM,

Im facing a similar issue now as well. How did you get the gpib and serial xla files migrated?

thanks

We only had to migrate the VBA code, not the actual serial or gpib tasks that you set up within the add-in.  To migrate the code, you just export and delete each module, then import it back it
