Re : learn the system to take measurement in a specific region in an image

Hi everybody,

i want to make the system take the measurement of A and B and do A/B for every bee wing photo input , i used the pattern matching  to make the system know the region where the measurement should be taken but the system is not reliable.

PLEASE find below the attached photo for more explanation and please any idea, suggestion ?

can you show the code you're using to find the patterns and show examples of when it succeeds and when it fails?

I'm no expert in that kind of algorithm but I'm not sure the pattern matching is the best option

making automatic algorithm for doing this is a bit difficult why you do not do it with hand measurement tools because to just need a/b also you do not need to calibrate your image
