I have the developer suite w/vision.
Using the Centroid VI, what is the sub pixel resolution I'd hope to get? I expect the image of the circle to have slight rolloff as a function of the imaging application (not a well defined circle); this should help increase the data set. I would expect the resolution to increase as a function of the circle size relative to the detector's pixel pitch. Is there a rule of thumb to figure this out ?
Beyond thresholding and masking out background image, is there another VI or approach that could increase resolution over the centroid VI?
