Why MAX5.0 not report right XML file settings from AVT GigE camera?

Well, I was a little busy and haven't contacted them yet. So no, it's not resolved. Have you tried the work around? It just can't be done inside MAX if that option isn't there.

Hi, by work around do you mean to write register 14104 (RegExposureMode) with "external (enum)" ?

I have not tried this yet as I am not familiar with writing directly to the register. Will explore this option and update any new findings here.

I've gotten some information from AVT with regard to this issue.

Due to GenICam's naming convention, the ExposureMode in GigeViewer is equivalent to the ExposureAuto in MAX.

So for External triggering option, select Others under ExposureAuto in MAX. 

Works fine for me. Let me know if this works for you.
