I have a PC that is running VB 2009 using an IP camera. The .VBAI inspection files are stored on the camera itself and the VB software interfaces with this camera to perform the inspections.
I am having problems using the "Read / Write Variables to INI File" state in my inspection flow. I have a .INI file out on the local C:/ drive of the PC that is running the VB software. When running the inspection, the inspection step fails opening this .INI file with the error message "Error Opening INI File". I suspect this is happening because the .VBAI is located on the IP camera, whereas the .INI file is located on the "host" C:/ drive. The IP camera has no clue where (or what) the path to the file is.
Is it possible to read this .INI file that is located in this location?
