Select whole image as ROI automatically

Hi everyone,

For the purpose of using pattern matching, I am first trying to select the area I want to explore. I use a camera from which I take photo and I want to analyze it later. I want to select the whole picture to find patterns (like circles or rectangles). My problem is that I need this to be automatic and I am not understanding how to configure the ROI. I tried to create a ROI descriptor but I don't understand how to send the data as a whole.

I have the feeling this is not very hard, but I think I am stuck in some thoughts. Can someone give me some tip to understand how to work with this?

Unfortunatelly I can't use the file, as I am using the version 2012. Is there any chance to get a later version of that VI?

I managed to create a ROI in the program after reading that VI 🙂
