Particle analysis- Cannot understand Sum X, Sum XY, moment of inertia XY

Hi,

I want to know what does Sum X, Sum Y, Sum XY , Moment of inertia X, Moment of inertia XY etc mean? 

I looked up at the document here but did not find it useful. It just shows a table! 

Does anyone know what it represents and how they are calculated?

Also an intuitive explaination would be great to understand quickly.

Thanks for your insights. The vi helped me to understand the calculations performed to obtain the sums and moment of inertia. 

Also I composed a small vi of my own which helped me to understand a little further.

I also got idea of how to calculate SUM's .I want to know where i can use this?Is there any specific task where it is require?

Please also share how calculation of moment of intertia has calculated and what is use of it?
