Image assistant is not showing gray scale

hello there;

i have made this program to find out shape patterns and it works perfectly, but when install it into myrio or try to mock it all over again image assistant VI doesn't show the grayscale image whcih doesn't allow image processing  to procced.

plz help me in this, thanks

Can you explain in a bit more detail, which step is erroring out and when this is happening?

The way I read this is that you are in development using the vision assistant express VI and when you try to configure any of the pattern matching steps, you are notified that you need a grayscale image. If that is what is happening, I would make sure that the sample image(s) you are using for processing are a color plane extraction of the camera's direct images. You are doing this in your application but if you just take the image directly from the camera during development I would expect this error to come up.

I think you get color image and it make problem
to your code use imaq cast image vi to solve it
because hardware image output do not respect cearte imaq image type and you have to use imaq cast image to solve it
