IMAQdx problem with FireWire camera

No, I always deasactivated the FireWall with my apps... to prevent bugs!

I haven't a screenshot... I can't reproduce the error, it's aleatory! But it's this one: « No acquisition in progress »

And the communication is already open

Meilleures salutations.

Hi,

you use

LabVIEW 2012 SP1 f5

Measurement & Automation Explorer 5.5.1

NI-IMAQdx 4.3

This IMAQdx version is included in the NI Vision Acquisition Software 2013 (september). See the release notes:

http://download.ni.com/support/softlib//vision/Vision%20Acquisition%20Software/September%202013/Visi...

--> Did you configure IMAQdx right?

I think there will be a new version in Q1/2014. Maybe this helps.

I also found a Bug saying the workaround is:

Use unconfigure and configure NI IMAQdx to change the acquisition window without closing the session.

--> I'm not sure this helps but maybe.

Best regards

Suse

Thank you so much Suse!

Yes, I actually use LabVIEW 2012 with some element from 2013 (we don't have updated all our programs at the moment). I have every year the new version but I don't have the time to update it...Smiley Wink

I only use configure and unconfigure IMAQdx at the begining and at the end of my program. When the camera is configured, I only take a picture.

I don't have the link but I read that past not only with LabVIEW 2012... But with olders versions too.

Meilleures salutations.

Thank you.

Maybe it helps to contact NI directly: http://www.ni.com/support/d/

So the engineers can contact the developers if the new release (Q1) doesn't help.

Best regards

Suse
