How to set up exposure time in IMAQ

I tried to find the funcstion in CVI to control exposure time in IMAQ. I am using PCI-1424 frame grabber and hamamatsu camera..

Maybe, there should be the function for controlling the exposure time of the camera.

But, I can't find the function for it.

Please, help me.....

Hello jay hwang,

Thank you for contacting National Instruments.  Normally the exposure time is configured in the camera file for your camera.  However, if you plan on changing this setting in LabWindows CVI, you can use the imgSetCameraAttributeString and imgSetCameraAttributeNumeric function calls to modify the shutter speed. 

For more information on the use of these functions, please refer to the NI-IMAQ Function Reference Help which can be found under Start >> Programs >> National Instruments >> Vision >> Documentation.  Perform a search for either of these two functions, and there should be a link inside the help document that should route you to a list of configurable attributes for your camera.
