Getting average of measurements in an image

Good morning everyone.

First of all thank you very much for being able to help and read this post.

I am trying to measure an object. To do that I use the CLAMP block (horizontal clamp, it does not matter if it is max or min distance).

The problem is that you can calculate the maximim or minimum distance between edges which are in a ROI with this VI.

But I would like to get the average of all measures that are in the ROI, since it can be obtained because this VI use them to know what is the maximum and minimun, but the problem is that I do not how to access them.

Any ideas to get the average?

I would suggest to use the IMAQ rake instead of the clamp because it returns all the edges detected.

have a look at the attached vi I started from the clamp example vi and added a rake option.
