The Basler acA2500-14gc is a GigE Vision camera, not 1394. You don't need any 1394 interface for this camera.

But it was under the IEEE 1394 devices list at desktop computer.

I assure you it is not. There is no PnP driver for a GigE Vision camera, since it is not on a PnP bus. If you post a screenshot it might be easier to explain what you are seeing.

Hello BlueCheese I've installed Basler cam's own software named Pylon Viewer. Helps to grab frame and snapshots and make adjustment of cameras some parameters. Normally I've got frames with it and there is no problem but hree times I've got bluescreen when I try to get frrames with that program. I don't is this and my problem related. After that installation cam2 source appeared. Named Basler Genicam Source. ( http://forums.ni.com/ni/attachments/ni/200/41983/1/nimaxscreenshot.jpg ) Maybe the thing under IEEE 1394 device is about this. Unfortunately I don't have access to laboratory right now. When I go there I will upload a screenshot.

Hi BlueCheese you were right. When I uninstalled Basler's software, Basler Pylon device in IEEE 1394 devices section, was removed. In NI MAX, cam2 source Basler Genicam Source was removed too. Only Basler acA2500-14gv remained and I can grab frames at NI MAX with that desktop. But with my laptop, I still get that error attached below.

Sorry for flood post, I can not edit my other post. In addition my ethernet adapter is Qualcomm Atheros AR8171/8175 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controlller(NDIS 6.20). Is there any problem with my ethernet adapter?

If you set the packet size to 1500 and still have the issue, it points to a firewall problem. If it fixes it, then you have a jumbo frames problem.
I am going to lose my mind. When I enable firewall, it gives Packet Size error, when I disable firewall, enable Jumbo Frames and decrease packet size to 1500 it gives Time Out Error.

Hi Butterworh,
Here is a resource which may help. It goes over possible reasons for the time out error:

I also tried this but still I get Time Out Error when I turned firewall off, when I turned it on(and adjust packet size) I get Packet Size Error. Is it something with Win7? When I purchased this laptop, ıt has got Win8 installed on it. I installed a SSD and changed my OS with Win7.
