Can I setup the CVS-1457RT for scan engine?

or do I need to compile a bit file to acess I/O?

The CVS doesn't have support for scan engine, but does have a full API for working with an included bitstream to use the I/O's for most typical tasks. Check out the Vision RIO palette and examples.
