Solved!
Go to solution

I want to change the Pike F032B default to "Quick Format Change Mode".

But I'm not sure how to use the "IMAQdx write register" function.

Any example or illustration are appreciated, sincerely.

ps. The Quick Format Change Mode info. is at the attachment page 346.

Hi,

The help file of "IMAQdx write register.vi" adn your document clearly indicates the usage.

Quick format change mode requires UpdTiming to be 2 and UpdActive to be 1.

The base of your register is 0xF1000570 (i.e. 4043310448 in Decimal expression)

On top of that,  the 32-bit field of your register is 10000010000000000000000000000010, which is 2181038082 in decimal expression.

In short, you can try to set Offset value as 4043310448 and value as 2181038082.

Hello~

Thanks for your advise.

The solution is matching to my thinking, but after doing this I met with some problems.

Do you know how to figure out the error codes at using the 3rd-party software (like Labview)?

Would you give me some suggestions?

Best Regards~~

Appeding to the error codes as below:

Error -1074364389 occurred at an unidentified location : NI-IMAQ IEEE-1394:  (Hex 0xBFF6801B) Camera not found

Error -1074364402 occurred at Property Node (arg 1) :NI-IMAQ IEEE-1394:  (Hex 0xBFF6800E) Invalid Session ID

I can run the Pike F032B smoothly by NI MAX but cannot in Labview VI. So, how do I figure out the problems?

Appreciated for any advise or solutions.

Best Regards.

Hi,

Which example VI you are using with?  From your error code: "Camera not found" and "Invalid Session ID", it seemed that you were not correctly connecting your VIs. It'd better to refer to the example VI first.
