Best reasonable machine vision camera?

You are accessing it currently via their drivers and the DirectShow interface. You must have installed their drivers as well. While it looks like they translated most of their features into their DirectShow interface, they can't put them all since the interface is limited. If this meets your needs, you might be in good shape. If you need something like triggering, it won't show up in that interface, for instance.

It does look like the camera is also showing up as a GigE Vision camera as well (MAX puts it under the Network Devices section). You could try accessing the camera via that interface and see how well it works. This would use the camera's XML file and hopefully would have all the features exposed.

a good option is to use the camera MIcrosoft HD 500, besides having good resolution has coorector white and its parameters can be made through softaware http://www.microsoft.com/es-es/moviles/accesorio/hd-500/

Hi visionmotion!

Maybe this vision sensor could be something for you? It doesn't only serve as a camera, but can also be programmed by you yourself so you can customize it exactly to fit your requirements:
