My understanding of Yakawa's "Memobus" is that it is an adaptation of the Modbus protocol. However, I have not been successful in using the Modbus drivers that are included with Lookout to communicate with other Yaskawa devices that use the "Memobus" protocol. The best solution is to use an OPC server that supports "Memobus", if one exists, to communicate with Lookout. I have seen users write there own driver in LabVIEW or Visual Basic, but this is not an easy task.
