Hi my name is Joaquim Silva,

I’m doing a bottle counter with the lookout application and  I’m having some
problems when the number starts to get bigger doesn’t refresh so quickly and it
takes to much time to refresh. When starts the counting it began at a good pace
but when the number starts getting bigger it will take more time to get the
real value. Already increase the baud rate between PLC and PC and I’m using
Modbus Com. The PLC is from AutomationDirect a Click.

The counter function is on the PLC prog and I’m sending the value to the PC.

Have you verified the CLICK is not the slowdown?

Im assuming you are using a double, unsigned?

I increased the Poll Rate form 00:01 to 00:00.1 it seemed to improved, but still only displays data from second to second.

 Double word?yes but before was using a floating point data maybe that also a reason. What means Unsigned?

What are the serial port settings and connection?  (Baud, RS232 or RS485, etc.)

How fast is the bottle counter needing to count? (bottles/second)

How "big" are the numbers you are updating?
