citidal and crashing

it seams that we are having a lot of problems with the citidal part of Lookout crashing

What's your OS, Service Pack, File system, Lookout version and OS user privileges? What's your network settings, size of the database? Any error messages, patterns? Is it reproducible? Any virus scan running or Control Panel >> FastFind?

We have also had this problem. The solution that fixed most of these crashes for us was defining the process lookout.exe as realtime using NT task manager. For version 3.8 we also defined the citadel exe as realtime.

This also happens on occasion when we open a 'client' process in lookout 4.5. We fixed these crashes by first deleting the state file for the client process.
