I am running a dedicated computer and Lookout 6.6 and noticed that my hard drive is filling up faster than normal. 80GB drive with only 2GB of space left. I archived in MAX but only gained about 1GB. I noticed that in c:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\LOG there are 7 ERRORLOG files. They are ERRORLOG, ERRORLOG.1 through ERRORLOG.6 and they are all 5-11 GB in size. The one without the suffix shows that it was last modified today, however the other ones are months to years old. Can the older ones be deleted or are they needed for Lookout/Citadel? What are the used for?

Thanks for the help. I asked my IT guy here at work and he said keep the plain ERRORLOG and just delete ERRORLOG.1 through ERRORLOG.6 they are just old files and it always writes to the main one. That worked and I went from 3 GB free space to 55 GB.
