When I try to compile lookout source code writen on version 6.7 on a machine with verson 6.5, 6.5 crashes while compiling. Is there any way to aviod this? The reverse (6.5 source on 6.7) Works OK

It most likely is because a feature is not backwards (forward?) compatible.
We develop in 6.2 primarily to target everything higher.

In 6.7 the Panel definitions, the last two items before the first object are:
yes, no,
remove these (go back to the comma before 'yes') and it will probably compile under 6.5 (look at a 6.5 panel definition for reference).
