Analog input trouble: Lookout 4.5 & Opto22

I am running Lookout 4.5 under WinNT 4 with a Opto22 compatible duTec Master I/O controller.

I've been working to convert a Lookout 3.8 program for use with 4.5 and hit a snag. I can get digital outputs to work, but I cannot get analog inputs to work.

To investigate further, I wrote a small program to read the analog input off a clean duTec, equipped only with an analog input. Doing this in Lookout 3.8, I can easily read the input voltage. Doing the same in 4.5, I cannot read the input voltage. If I equip the duTec with a digital output module, I have no trouble switching it on and off with 4.5.

Is there some importance difference in the Opto22 driver migrating from 3.8 to 4.5? Is there a known workarou
nd?

Thanks in advance

Mike

Mike,
I suggest that you use the Lookout diagnosticfile generation function to compare the messages being sent and received by Lookout 3.8 and 4.5.

For detailed instructions on setting up the diagnosticfile, please refer the to following link:

If you note discrepancies between Lookout 3.8 and 4.5, contact support and we can look into it. Otherwise you may have some subtle difference in your serial port parameters and I would recommend going over them again.
