hi,

 I am doing a project related to heart rate variability. I have just 2- 5 seconds of ECG data of a normal human. But the is not sufficient as i need to show the heart rate varaibility. Does any one have a 1 hour long data.I have tried to extrapolate the data to 5mins i have and include some abnormalities but it would be much better if any one can help me with a sufficiently long real time data (1 hr )..."with abnormal heat rate variations". Plzz help me.

I heard at a public day at the PTB (german institute for the national standards)  that  ECG (analysers?) will be tested with a collection of  'standard' ECG signals. Maybe a search (or some phone calls ;-) )in this direction might help you.

I agree with Henrik that there are datasets available. I do not recall where. You might check with the NIH in the United States.

Just FYI: National Instruments has a program called BioBench designed for the life sciences field.  Depending on your application, this may be useful for you.  I believe it does have simulated signals built in.
