Calculating median power frequency

A common parameter in the spectral analysis of electromyographic (EMG) signals of muscle activity is the Median Power Frequency, or MDF. In general, 1/2 of the power in the spectrum lies within frequencies lower than the MDF, and 1/2 of the power lies within frequencies higher than the MDF. Can anyone with experience calculating the MDF with LabVIEW share any insights as to how this may be accomplished?

Note: I am able to produce the power spectrum without any problems.
