save a image in .jpeg format in labwindows/cvi?

I have been saving the images as a .bmp, but we are saving alot of images and really filling up the hard drive quick. I can not find a way to say in any other format. If you can help me save the image in any smaller format!!!! thanks for the help,

Hello

There are no built in libraries in CVI to be able to do this, but check out the link to this other discussion. Apparently there are some third party tools out there that do allow you to do what you need.
