Did you mean:

"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)"

A few people appear to have had this problem in the past, (eg https://forums.ni.com/t5/LabWindows-CVI/XP-Failed-to-initialize-properly-0xc000007b/td-p/1982139), but the solution is still not clear to me.

I have a program that builds and runs successfully on a development machine. When I try to run the executable on a different machine, I get the above error. General searching suggests this is a library problem, but I don't know how to resolve it!

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Steven

Hi Steven,

Have a look at this article and make sure you have installed the correct drivers and followed the steps:

http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/how-to/windows/how-fix-application-was-unable-start-correctly-0xc000007b-...

Make sure you also have the correct runtime engine installed. It needs to match your development machine.

None of the steps listed in the article resolved the problem. Does the runtime engine not get included when you package the program for release?

What version of .NET framework does NIMax.exe use?
