multithread for data collect

I am collection image and motion data which is time curcial.

I am willing to write the image, and coordinates data to a file which is slow process.

I understand a new thread for file writing is the solution, but what should I do?

Any help or there is a simple example I can follow?

There are a couple of examples installed with CVI that demonstrate how to use the multi-threading functions. You can find them under ..\CVI\samples\utility\threading. Check out this link as well for more information about issues with multi-threading and examples.
