the software you download from NI site is an evaluation version limited in time intended to let you experiment product features so that you can decide whether to buy it or not. It is limited also in that you cannot execute programs created with this version for more than a few minutes.
To have full product features applied to the product you must buy a licence for the appropriate version, either base or full; after that you can activate the product with the activation manager or via e-mail or by phone, whichever is best for you.
