how to generate report in excel sheet in without usinsg activex controls, report should contain table , text box , graph in labwindow/CVI?

Let's see if anybody else has another idea, but as far as I am concerned I don't know any other technique than Active X for generating an excel report with CVI...

Take a look at this white paper:
Generating Microsoft Excel Reports with LabWindows/CVI
This instrument interfaces with Excel via ActiveX Automation, but does not make use of ActiveX controls.
It needs Excel to be installed on the target machine to work. Excel Starter edition cannot be used in this case as it lacks of the ActiveX interface.
