how to freeze a waveform

i have a transmitting signal...how can i programme my virtual oscilloscope to freeze the transmitting waveform?

Hello

The CVI graph will retain the plot data, so you can stop plotting the data to the graph, and that would in effect freeze the display. Althought the implementation of how you would set this up hardware-wise would be based on the type of device you are using to transmit the signal.

if that's the case, do i have to add any source codes to stop plotting the data to the graph? if i need to add source codes, wat source codes shld i add?
