creating dialox boxes?

Hi -

I searched the forum and found several references to dialog boxes, but these references are all a few versions old. I can't find anything about dialog boxes in the CVI Help -- surely they must exist. Do they have a different name now?

I want to create a browse window for a menu callback (a textbook File->Open...). Any help is appreciated.

Did you try with FileSelectPopup (); ?

Ahh...no, I hadn't seen that one. I guess CVI uses the term "popup" instead of "dialog boxes."

You've found your solution, but as a general solution if you want to create you own popups, there are several examples here.
