component work : CWNumEdit

HI,
I'm searching informations about Components Works and especially CWNumEdit. I uset it with with CVI with a date format ("dd/mm/yyyy hh:nn:ss") and want to get the value.All seems fine but I can't decode the result.For example 37633.625 is the date time but how to decode all fields ( hour, minute, day,....)
I can get it by text, but that's not very good.
