VI Logger / NIMAX locks up with RDA task

running NI Max 2.2 and NIDaq 6.9.1f28, Win2k SP3 client, Win98SE RDA server,
VI Logger 1.0, DAQPad-MIO-16xe-50 parallel port acq on server,

client NIMax selftest panel of remote RDA hardware runs ok,
set up VI Logger task, hardware i.d. shows up in select box,
but when hit start log button, then client NIMax locks up CPU at 100%
and have to kill it.

should work, right????

Hello;

That is a known issue on NI-DAQ 6.9.1. In case you need to work with that version of the driver, you need to install VI-Logger on both machines when using VI-Logger together with RDA.

That issue was fixed in NI-DAQ version 6.9.2. So, my suggestion for you is to upgrade NI-DAQ to the latest version availbale at NI web site (6.9.3).
