Using viLogger within CVI

I'm setting up a measurement chain with viLogger (1.0.1) and would like to use it from CVI (5.5). I found the corresponding functions in the Library tree but no reference information.
Is there a sample code available?

I'm using CVI 5.5 and have some problems with opening the uir-files of the samples. Despite this fact I created a debugging exe and got an error when trying to run (entry point of _mbsspn not found in cvirte.dll).

Do I need to upgrade to CVI 6.x?

Yes to run VI logger in CVI, CVI 6 is needed.
