Hi all,
I have always assumed that a tab control on a panel set with Use Windows Visual Style for controls can have two tab pages background color:
I have found, however, one tab control that behaves differently, always showing the white background regardless the position of the tabs: in the picture below compare the tab control on the left, that behaves "normally", with the one on the right that is white. Consider that tab pages background color cannot be set in the UIR editor since the control follows Windows theme (this remains true for both controls).
Now, I have no idea how I obtained this
Does anybody have an idea on how to do so?
I am attaching the sample panel shown above for you to test.
I have found it initially on CVI 2009SP1 on a Win7 machine with CVI2012SP1 runtime, but the control shows the same beaviour on CVI2012SP1 too.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Roberto,
may be I have misunderstood it, also I do have CVI2013 and thus cannot make a direct comparison, but I was able to get identical colors... Did you try to de-select 'Use Windows Visual Style for Controls', change the color, and then re-enable the check box? That worked for me...

I might have done it this way too and forgot it!
You see, there are so many possibilities at your hand I sometimes miss the obvious solution! Thanks for pointing me to it.

Well, it seems to me that "amateur" doesn't suits you well!
