Undefined symbol '_imaqCreateImage@8' link error in "Load and Display.c".

Hello,

I recently installed LabWindows/CVI. I got link errors: Undefined symbol '_imaqCreateImage@8' when I tried to run the smaple code "Load and Display.c". One former post suggested us to search for the nivision.fp. However I cannot find it. I only find nimachinevision.fp in cv171\toolslib\vision\nimachinevision.fp. After loading it into the project, I still get the link error. Thanks.

Hello,

Try navigating to: C:\Program Files\National Instruments\CVI71\bin and then either manually load nivision.lfp to your Instrument Library in CVI or add nivision.lib to the project. Either of these solutions should take care of the issue.

Try this and let me know if you have any additional questions on this issue.

i've a very similar problem when i try to execute a simple example

error: Undefined symbol '_imaqCreateImage' referenced in "c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\National Instruments\CVI\samples\IMAQdx\Grab\cvibuild.Grab\Debug\Grab.obj".

i've tried to manually link the file that you suggest above but it's not working.

can you  help me?

best regard
