Tutorial or examples for accessing USB-8451 in LabWindows/CVI through C

Hello,

I can't seem to find any tutorials or C coding examples for accessing NI USB-8451 with the LabWindows compiler. I see the user manual containing several functions for finding the device, etc., but there is no example code for the order of the functions and how to use them. I was wondering if this existed anywhere or if anyone could help me get started simply accessing it and some of its DIO functions? Should the code for accessing the USB go in the C source code for .uir interface?

NI claims that there is an example for CVI (for XP in the folder C:\Program Files\National Instruments\CVIXX\samples\ni845x) - after downloading the driver I don't have this hardware so I can't tell myself...

Hi! Thanks for your response. There were tutorials in the downloaded files. They appeared in a different folder for my Lenovo system, however, but it is likely due to the version I have:   C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\CVI2013\samples\ni845x
