RS232 port conflict on NI PCI RS-232/8 (NI 777642-01)

My NI RS232-8 PCI card shows that several of the ports are conflicted. It did install Ok intially, but put in a Win 2000 system with many resources and then go conflicted, now it conflicted all the time (with other cards out) on this and tried in another computer, same result. Is there anything can do to essentially reset card?

Hello,

When you say that the card is conflicted, do you mean that device manager shows that it is using IRQ or memory resources that are assigned to another card? Or do you mean that the actual port numbers are somehow conflicted (COM1, COM2, etc)? What version of the NI-Serial driver are you using?

It sounds like you had this card working in another system, so the card is probably okay. You can always try deleting the card from device manager and having Windows redetect the card, which may fix your resource conflict.

Let me know the answers to these questions and I'll try to help you out more.
