Problem with using a Labview generated DLL in Labwindows CVI

Greetings,
I generated a dll from a LabView project and it compiled with no errors or warnings.  However when I call it from Labwindows CVI I am getting a windows error "dll is missing from your computer..."

I have the VI and the dll in the same directory as the CVI application.  I added the file to the executable (see attached) - actually the program runs in executable mode but not in Debug mode.

As an experiment I did a much simpler VI/CVI combo and that in fact worked- I followed the same process for my real project but am getting the errors I mentioned.

I have not run regsvr32 on the dll- is that necessary?  Does that even work for Win7?

Some screen shots are attached.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

-don

I see that you've opened a service request about this issue as well.  We will collectively work with you through that mode of communication, but if any other community members have additional ideas, feel free to post here as well!
