MultiFileSelectPopup file order

Is there a way to force MultiFileSelectPopup() to put the files in the fileList
in the same order that they were selected? For example, a user might want to
select a series of files for viewing in chronological order by selecting
"Details" and then clicking on the "Modified" column header.

Im afraid this is not built into that control. You would need to make a custom panel that would do that for you.
