I also wanted to forward you the answer of our CVI Team:
"this is intended behavior. In most cases, this resizing functionality is intended to be used so that graphs and textboxes can be properly sized to fit available space. However, labels are typically a fixed size and do not change with the size of the control. For example, if you place a small new graph on your CVI front panel and then place a second, larger graph, you'll see that the labels are the same size.
If you did want to change the size of the labels themselves, this could possibly be done by capturing the resize event and writing code to resize the labels accordingly"
