Instances of CVI

Hallo

Every time when I double click an UIR-file in the windows explorer, it is
opend in a new instance of CVI(7.0). Is it possible to configure CVI to
start only one instance and show the file in this instance?

Hello Babak,

I was unable to reproduce your problem. I had CVI 7.0 open with a complete project, including the .uir file, pulled up. I then browsed to another .uir file and double clicked on it. The file was opened in the current instance of CVI. No other instance was opened. The file was not automatically added to the current project, however. Is that what you are trying to do?

It looks like I might need more information on your current configuration in order to reproduce your situation.

If none of these suggestions help, or if I�m not correctly understanding your issue, please post the software and versions you are using, the applicable portions of your code, and any other information that may help, and I�ll be happy to look further into it.
