Image Filters Ni Vision

I am working on an image analysis solution with NI vision 2014 and I found using the following sequence I get the result I need.

smothing: gaussian

edge detection:  laplacian  

However I don't find either of these functions in the cvi: NI vision library.  (I would have expected to find them in the spatial filters)

It is possible to use these filters in cvi labwindows?

If you are playing with the vision assistant or a similar tool, you will be dismayed by the extent to which the CVI vision library lags behind the LabView vision library.

The function names you're referring to are from the Vision Assistant UI.

You can select Tools>Create C Code to automatically create the CVI code corresponding to your Vision Assistant script.
