I need to upgrade my application to talk to oracle 9i, but I have an error using DBConnect. I don't know if it's due to SQL toolkit 2.05 , Do I need 2.06? Operating system (NT & 2000)
Most propably not, any version of the toolkit should at least connect to the database. You might have less functionality with older toolkits, but you should be able to connect at least. There is most propably issues with your connection string.
I keep on forgetting how to do this as well, so I created a quick reference for myself. Take a look at it onlne at my cvi help pages
Hope it helps.

Hi, All SQL Toolkit versions can support Oracle 9i. You just have to get the last ODBC Drivers for Oracle 9i on the following URL : http://otn.oracle.com/software/tech/windows/odbc/index.html Regards,
