I can scan voltage using a DAQ card but I can I write a function that will continuously scan the channels I select until I wish to stop. i.e. A control that begins a scan and a control that stops a scan??

It seems that once a scan has begun the user has no control of the GUI until the scan is complete. Is it possible to create some sort of control button that will initialize a scan for an unspecified amount of time until a "stop" button is activated?

You can also search our site for example programs, specifically ones written in CVI that do continuous data acquisition.
