How to translate a software developed with CVI 5.0 from french to japanese

I would like to translate a software developed with CVI 5.0 from french to japanese. Do I need to use multibyte characters, do I need other ANSI C library, where to find polices? Thanks.

Hello StephT,

Only CVI 6.0 and later supports multibyte characters like japanese or chinese character. However if you only need to translate your GUI, the localizaton utility provided with CVI, look at Start » Programs » National Instruments » CVI» Utility Programs will help you.
