How do I link an msadodc.fp data source to a msdatgrd.fp grid control using CVI v6.0?

I have the ado configured for a data source with this and the data grid on a panel. I tried using the function "MSDataGridLib_IDataGridSetByRefDataSource"
(contained in 'msdatgrd.fp')with handles to the grid and ado control without success. The error message says expected 'MSDataGridLibType_DataSource' for argument 3.

Hello,
Are you passing the variable that has the correct data type ('MSDataGridLibType_DataSource) as the third argument of MSDataGridLib_IDataGridSetByRefDataSource function? This is an ActiveX control from Microsoft. Please refer to MSDN for more information for this control.
