The CVI environment and Run-Time engine provides only 2 actual fonts NI7SEG and NISYTEM; other fonts like NIApp, NIMenu, etc are metafonts that will allow you to use the fonts configured in the system for menus or dialogs, etc.
The good news for you is that both NI7SEG and NISYSTEM are fixed length fonts. Since these fonts get installed with the run-time engine you are safe when distributing your application.
