Yes, I did the steps, but the Execution Profiler does not work unfortunaletly.

I just ran into the same problem and found this thread. In my case I was able to fix it by moving to CVI 2015. Unfortunately I couldn't just run the project, I had to delete the project & workspace and recreate it with the C files in CVI 2015. My guess is its some problem with corrupted workspace/project files.
