I found this file in the folder being used by the network installation that was created in the licinse manager creat network installer option. But when I try an do an install form the directory created in the create network installer option useign the autostart file I still get Error 1335 with File MetaUninstallerR1.cab missing, see screen shot attached.
When I execute the mslsetup.exe I get and error saying an error occured while accessingthe license server, but the screen shot indicates that some information was reterived from the file server

Just to verify this is what is happening:
Running mslsetup.exe before actually installing CVI 8.1 will not fix anything. Let me know the above information, and I will be able to help you out more.

I copped the network install directory for hte Labwindos CVI 8.1 From to a nother folder, no errors were encountered. I tried using the LabWidows CVI 8.1 CD to install Labwindoes onto my desktop PC, with out using the Volume License manager Netwrok Install utility. The software installed direct from the CD without any problems.
I deleted and then regenerated the Network Install Labsindows CVI 8.1 doirectory using the Creat Network Install option in Volume License Manager 2.0. i still get the same Error 1335 ant the same point in the installation process. The attached is a screen shot of the erorr. I will try using a another Labwindows CVI 8.1 CD to insure the issue is not related to a bad CD.
